After an in-depth selection process, Daymar College is pleased to announce it has selected Greg Shields to lead its Columbus, Ohio campus as campus president. Shields began his new role on February 13.
As campus president of Daymar College Columbus campus, Shields will provide leadership for the local campus, managing operational effectiveness and promoting campus development. He will be responsible for Daymar students' experience and educational outcomes.
Shields comes to Daymar with 12 years of senior management experience in proprietary education, including most recently serving as campus president of Brightwood College in Dayton. Shields earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Kentucky.
Shields has long been an advocate for all students attending career colleges. He has spent several years as a member of the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools Board of Directors.
“I am passionate about helping others succeed,” Shields said. “I believe that Daymar College offers students the opportunity to earn the skills that they need in today’s rapidly changing workplace to find the best career choice for them.”
